I woke up suddenly. \u00a0The image wouldn’t leave my mind. During my vivid dream, I had my arms in the air and was yelling, “It’s My Turn”! over and over again. It was so real and I was very caught up in the frantic emotion of it all. It had the elements of a “Once Upon A Time” story. And none of the elements of an “Achieving Goals” story. And then I woke up.<\/span><\/p>\n But what did it mean? I couldn’t get the image and those words out of my head. They haunted me and kept entering my brain even when I tried to focus on something else. It was as if there was a person standing in front of me demanding to be heard. How could I ignore this and go on with my day?<\/span><\/p>\n I decided to do what I’ve been trained to do as a coach – listen, and sit with it. Give myself time to feel and experience it. It was my intuition that was tugging at me and expected me to heed the message. But the message wasn’t clear.<\/span><\/p>\n It would have been great if I received something very specific and actionable – but I didn’t. How should I interpret this vague exclamation of frustration in a way that would have meaning to me?<\/span><\/p>\n I had already been through a painful layoff and had struggled to reinvent myself in this new career. I thought I had arrived and made it through.<\/span><\/p>\n So, there I sat. Quietly pondering the “It’s My Turn” message and then it hit me! I had made it through alright, but that was about it! There was so much more to do. Other women needed me. My message resonated with so many women, but they don’t even know that I have this very personal message for them. I don’t know their address, I don’t know where they work, I don’t know where they are in their own life. I don’t know where to find them.<\/span><\/p>\n It was truly my “once upon a time” moment! The moment when the story changes – \u00a0when you expect big things to happen. How could I stay true to this story line? I had to commit to finding other women for my tribe.<\/span><\/p>\n So, how do I reach them? I have to put my message out there. I have to see who can be helped by it. I have to risk being vulnerable and tell my story. I have to want to make a bigger difference.<\/span><\/p>\n I realized I am being called to play a bigger game.<\/span><\/p>\n My awesome, local, close circle isn’t big enough for this new vision. Don’t get me wrong – I LOVE this local, close circle of friends and colleagues. But it’s no longer enough – my intuition is telling me so. I need to reach more of you. We need to work together – \u00a0those of you who are ready to get what you want and deserve. I want you to stop simply existing, or living for the weekend, and truly LIVE full out every day.<\/span><\/p>\n I work on this myself every day and I hope you will join me. This work is definitely a journey and not a destination.<\/span><\/p>\n You see, my mission in life is to help other women live an inspired life WHILE having it all!<\/span><\/p>\n I see the eyes of other women light up when I share my CRAVE\u00a9 process with them. They can see the possibilities for their own life. They see it is a non-threatening way for them to find their joy again, really grow, and thrive – all while not jeopardizing what they already have. That is, unless they WANT to threaten what they already have. My CRAVE\u00a9 process works that way too!<\/span><\/p>\n My catalyst for change was that painful layoff. Based on my experience, my message for you is to focus on you NOW. Don’t wait for the catalyst. Be ready for it! Know what you want and when you want to pull the trigger. Don’t let someone else decide for you. And if they do, make sure you are ready.<\/span><\/p>\n I help you create a soft landing by planning your next chapter – while you are still fully engaged in your current one. You can take the lessons learned from your current chapter and bring all the great lessons forward and leave the things you simply accepted but that didn’t truly benefit you behind.<\/span><\/p>\n So, how about you? But how would you live your life if you were told you had less time on this earth than you thought?<\/span><\/p>\n As you get older, time only flies by faster, while your runway gets shorter. Your need to “stick the landing” is even more critical. You won’t want to play around without focusing on exactly what you want to accomplish. If you do, you’ll never get where you want to be. I don’t want to be harsh, but this could be the wake-up call you need.
