As you approach Thanksgiving (or many of us also celebrate \u201cFriendsgiving\u201d), have you given any thought to giving thanks for your status as a female business owner or professional woman?<\/p>\n

I spoke to a female business owner the other day and the conversation was quite revealing. There was so much gratitude associated with creating something from scratch that was successful and had provided her with the financial stability she currently enjoys.<\/p>\n

I speak to professional women all the time who are so grateful for the positions they have achieved and the personal and professional growth they have experienced.<\/p>\n

Do you celebrate what you have achieved?<\/i><\/strong><\/p>\n

Can you imagine a broader concept of Thanksgiving to include your own personal and professional accomplishments?<\/p>\n

Can you replace the holiday stress with a reflection on your broader joy and gratitude? If you can, it can help amplify the holiday spirit!<\/p>\n

Here are a few questions to help you focus on joy and gratitude:<\/h3>\n

  1. What are you truly grateful for in your life?<\/li>\n
  2. What are the things that bring you joy?<\/li>\n
  3. When you can get in touch with joy and gratitude, how can you call upon those feelings more often?<\/li>\n
  4. What activities can you engage in to bring more joy into your life?<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
